What Do Moose Do in Alaska When It’s Hot?

It’s a hot summer day. A couple twin moose find a way to beat the heat. My friend, Nancy, caught it all on her iphone at her University of Alaska office in Anchorage.

At first they look a little like dogs playing in the sprinkler. But take a closer look. Those creatures won’t be leaving paw prints. Maggie, our canine contributor, loves moose. She has a collection. She freaks out when she hears or smells deer in our yard. I wonder what she’d do if she ever saw a real moose.

Enjoy!
