We tried this grinder first, and… well… it wasn’t our favorite.
It is quiet, which I appreciated, but I didn’t want to stay still. Mom said it was difficult to hold, and her thumb couldn’t reach the switch on the handle without taking her hand off the grinder. She has regular woman hands, and this thing felt like it was built for big manly hands. And my dad is definitely not my manicurist.
We rested and tried again. Still nope. It’s too big, too bulky, and we didn’t need all that extra power for my nails anyway.

I was hesitant to lay on the sheet again, but when Mom showed me the treat bag, I decided to give it a go. To my surprise, this grinder wasn’t too bad at all. It was so quiet that I didn’t feel nervous, and I could see dusty nail stuff collecting on the sheet — proof that it was working.
Mom finished one paw before I even realized it, and suddenly it was treat time. That’s when I knew this grinder trial was a success.
